Take a look at your life.
If you have food , a roof over your head, and a place to sleep.

if you have money in the bank , in you wallet , and enough to get you by ,

you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy .


if you woke up this morning ,
with more health than illness,

you are more blessed than the 1 million people who will not survive this week .


if you have never experienced the terror of war, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture , and the pangs of starvation ,

you are ahead of 500 million people .


if you can hold your head high , with a smile on your face , and be truly thankful,
you are blessed , because though the majority can ,

they do not .

if you can read this , you are more blessed than over 2 billion of the world's population
that cannot read at all.
