wowww. so long i din come online.
so much to say .last week's first aid class was top notch . thank you ivan , pavan and edwin .
and happy birthday to the many people who had birthdays recently , toh wee soon, sebastian (ng hong soon) , jace, irwin , chong jj , and the rest. hahah . HAPPY BIRTHDAY =D

so , the 2nd prefect camp of 2008 is over .

comments?

nice, great. i can say better than the march one .
although the facilities aren't so good , (i can hear edwin shouting about the toilets)
camp is about hardship. so dont complain.

so, what did we do????

. . . DAY 1. . .

set off from school . reached the place (kem kaizen , gunung pulai ) at around...4 ?
so we were given a briefing .1st impression?
" the faci DAMN KUAI LAN" , says edwin . he's called "abang yon"
and happens to be my fren's uncle. hahahahha .
so we put our stuff. amazing .
40+ guys in one dorm . (dorm's smaller than...actioncity?around tt size . )
and the girls . 14 in one dorm the same size. amazing amazing.
the sleeping part? like two raised stages where we put tilams.
so !

whats our 1st activity ? grouping by the camp com and an activity .
about circle, square , triangle and wave shapes. ahhaha. dont need to mention la.
at night, the real stuff .

then while the others having prayer , we sit at the pondok talk ghost stories . woohoo . that shall be in a seperate post.

**NIGHT WALK **

whats that? we walk in the pitch black darkness holding a rope through the trail. haha.

so we are given numbers. im 21. sean thum is 22 .

so at first kinda scared . but then we just walk .

so now we got 4 ppl . 21 22 23 24 in a row .
walk somemore and you can hear something like,
"OHMYGOD MY LEG . " hey its afiq.

"EDWIN! BE CAREFUL !! " justin .
so much for "not supposed to make noise "
hahahha. so we have like one big row . poor nabil fell down alot alot. got on
mud slope, we just like. slide down . hahah .

so the trail is only 300m . but we took almost an hour. hahah .
but it was fun . so there's like a discussion after that .
then he asks us abt our feelings.
then he tells us . " kamu telah lalui kawasan kubur . "

2 matress space= at least 4 or 5 people.

first , walk on the "jalan british "
a rocky path apparently british used . then the map says we will reach two branches .
one forked and one straight .

there's the real branch . tree trunk rather . hahah .
there ee ling falls into a bush . then suddenly some ppl dont dare to jump from on top. haha .
walk on and we reach an old british gun fort , where a sleepy faci is waiting.
the gun is gone of course. there the water path starts .
we din drink the water . looks nice tho . haha . walk walk walk.
kinda shallow . walk walk walk. walk walk.
getting deeper. walk walk. we not supposed to walk on the tanah coz got hornets . wow.
ever heard of pokok nibung?
the stem is bloody thorny .
i went and grab a mini one hanging from above.
soon, im busy plucking thorns from my left hand. haha
left 3 splinters . shit.
getting deeper . now its knee deep. when ppl trip , they splash .
when water splash , ppl get wet . cap.shafiq is wet from neck to toe. hahah.
after the swampy part , its on to climbing the hill .
while climbing we hear dinash , edwin and nabil .
group 4 is behind! group 2 is right in front though .
up hill 1 , down hill 1 , then up hill 2 .
where they told us " pemandangan seluruh pontian"
yea , nice. but was that seluruh pontian..? nvm .
so we walk down down down .
down . then we climb up one "cliff" which was easy . ahha.

back at kem kaizen entrance.

super nice. what more when the faci (not the kurang ajar one) tells us we got outdoor cooking 2nite.

a.k.a barbeque.
thats what we think la .the juniors are all saying 'babikew" especially chiang. haha

then another "moral" session . the faci 's are not there and we are talking crap.ahah.im squeezing my finger to get the stupid thorns out . 1 down 2 to go.

dinner time? i thought the BABIKEW?

one packet of oreo gone .someone out there owes me one packet of oreo. i know who.

so , what's this outdoor cooking?
table, BBQ pit , fan , cold drinks and chairs?
no la. 5 matches , tin foil, 22 pieces of marinated secret recipe with 100 spices chicken , soya sauce, chili sauce, and plates.

luckily we have shafiq in our team!!
dont underestimate opur cap. coz he's good at starting fires.

whats the plan?
two tree roots , forming a natural pit. so we dig a small hole , and go find wood.
then wrap the chicken in foil and put inside . cover .
start the fire slowly .
gettin bigger . put more wood.

soon group 3 is sitting around a roaring fire

our teacher drops by .
"ehh mana ayam? "
we look around and we see other teams using stuff like big rocks to make a stand and bamboo as holders.
hmm .
"ayam? entah mereka belum hantar la. sementara tu buat api. sudah besar wei."

so 3 ppl asked us the question.
we went and dug up the chicken . not cooked. re-bury and re-burn .
finally its cooked. first taste.
"ummm. sedap!"
yeahhh. its nice. seriously.
so we go find nice leaf /flower for deco .
there's a chicken presentation . team cheer + chicken .
we got the cheer part down pat.
came up with a haka dance . there you know the rugby ppl . hahah.
now for the chicken .
so we got a nice applause . group 5 went with a twist tho .
they presented at the top , not bottom . then did like some sort of ... royal tribute or something.
got the raja (wong) , permaisuri ( hanita) and anak raja ( rohaizad. happened to be his bday,)

chinese + indian = malay. SCANDALLLLLOUSSS . shh . sorry sorry .

so as usual there's no winner . coz everyone apparently is too good. faci got such easy jobs eh?

i wake up . seniors are playing pepsi cola. that game where you step on ppl's foot.

chiang is sleeping on the chair . facing right .
K1 ( kong #1 . the kong twins ) sleeping another chair .face left .
K2 is sleeping with his mouth open .
many suggestions to stuff something inside.
search my bag.
cough drops? nice ah.
in it goes .
stuck at the tongue .
suddenly his hand flies up and whack his own mouth .
jaw moves .
everyone's laughing.

one of THE best i tell you .
#1 - log bridge . walk halfway i masuk sungai already . only like 8 ppl pass.
#2 - rope bridge . like triangles knotted in . easy .
#3 - floating platform . easy . wanted to stand there and dance abit but then . better not.haha
#4 - the "boneshaker" . hahah .a plank chained between two posts. walk and it will shake.
the trick, walk like crab . 3 ppl turn back . hahaha. i jump at the last part. shake
too much liao. haha
#5 - the tyre hanging down . afiq bang into me and both masuk sungai. 2nd dunking . haha
#6 -the smelly tunnel . eeee .
#7 - cable bridge. this is where the girls started. haha. easy.
#8 - im starting to lose count . rope bridge i think. crawl.easy.
aiya. forget it.
then got the monkey bars . i passed.hahah din expect that.
then there's this raft thingy . passed. lucky.
then the rope bridge again. this time is kanasai . not stable , will twist . so many ppl jatuh.
i pass, coz no fat ppl behind /in front me. yay .
then...the planks again. easy. then.
land obstacles. btw, the previous ones mostly above water . fall you get wet .
now land. climb tyre . then then then then

HIGHLIGHT!!! what our teacher called "sotong celup tepung"
and what we all were like, yuck about .
the crawling obstacle . only thing the pit is deeper and filled with water and you HAVE to dunk your head in coz they put sticks.
(ganesh cheated coz he's small. )
smelly smelly smelly. SICK! hhahahah.

the girls din have to do la. lol .
damn fun . not the sotong part.
hahaha.

bathe, pack up. then closing ceremony.
there's this guy, pak habib. giving a talk . edwin say he damn kurang ajar. but he damn good at talking .
