its a short holiday and a long weekend .

i woke up at 11 today ,
after i read dusk watch (twilight watch , but i'll refer to it as dusk to avoid confusion)
late into the night, i think i slept at around 2 or 3?

the night watch series is one of the best science fiction / fantasy books i've read .
move aside , all the amateur overly-fantasyish books with weird names and elves and dwarves.

inheritance and lord of the rings do not count .

the thing about night watch is that its originally in russian.
its translated , ok. they did a good job .
but the names , damn it .

the boy , a potential Other is Egor .
the dematerialised watchman , is Igor .
now there's a werewolf , also Igor .
his son is Anton .
and the main character is Anton .
Anton asked anton about Arina .
there's also another other named Irina .

never mind about that . see? i've gone off topic .
my attention strays .
i was supposed to do my work .
then i kept reading dusk watch . i put it outside.

i went outside to read .

now here i am at the computer .
i was printing scores . now im blogging .

btw , crumpler bags have gone up in price .
the western lawn ( basic) from $90 is now , $102
and the barney rustle blanket ( what a name. ) from $138 is now $170 .
nope nope .

this meteoric rise of prices pushes me to my last resort .
a desperate measure .
