Speak your Mind ,

Opinions vary , it all depends on your stance and perspective.

Often , the best perspective is always in the middle of it all , right there,

there !

Right in that person's shoes.
Right there smack in the middle of the scenario .

Life works in funny ways , things happen that make you click the DELETE button on your previous opinion but of course something like that doesn't exist ( if it did it would be easier to forgive&forget)

Sometimes things happen that make you rethink , repicture , reposition .
And you find that it looks so much nicer from this new angle !

Well, for you that is , can't impose your view on other people , ya?
can't grab their head , look loook there look at that that yes yes lean back!
(my cousin used to do that to me . )
Airplane!!
Where??
there!
Where got!
*grabs my head*
OH OH OKOKOK LET GO.

ages ago ..I was.. uh , 6?

So if something makes you change your perspective then EAT YOUR WORDS and get on with life.

and anyway I was studying Sejarah like any other tormented Form 3 when I came across this misprint in the textbook .
No , it wasn't a misprint. It was actually the true version , all other books are misprinted .
It was about the founding of Melaka and how sentient life came to this God-forsaken place previously unnamed .

Once there was a powerful empire called CV Jaya . Like everything great, it had to fall someday. Its fall came at the hands of the Bittermaja clan . The ruler, Para Mace Wara fled across the ocean in his ship made of banana leaves.

He sailed for 7 days and 7 nights during which his provisions ran short. His loyal men bowed before him and said,
" My King, allow me to sacrifice myself for the future of CVJaya. "
"My King, me too"
" Me three. "

and so on and so forth .

The seven brave and loyal men sacrificed themselves as a last act of loyalty to their King . The King was saved from starvation but he reached land on the 9th day so it was quite a waste.

He had lots of meat left over.

nevertheless he stepped on terra firma and walked on , lugging with him a bag filled with Homo Sapiens steak . He deciphered a tablet he found and realised that he was on the island of Ben10, he contemplated , whether to move on or stay there.

Seeing that the island over there was a bit nicer, he journeyed to SinChiaPour , the journey took him 2 days by boat but had he known, it would have taken him 1 hour at most via the ERP at the cost of 5 silver dollars.

2 days on sea had taken a toll on Para , who had nearly exhausted his ration of steak . The remaining pieces were beyond his fancy ,eg:liver , brain , intestines
(this guy didn't shit for a week) , stomach , rump , ahem and he threw them overboard the moment he spotted land.

Unbeknown to him , his action sparked a chain of events.

A colossal maw formed a whirlpool from the inky depths of the Sunda Straits. The beast which rose from its sub aquatic kingdom was like no other. Para was awed by its power and glory , recognizing it from ancient texts he had been read to as a young Prince.

Leviathan the Tidehunter.

Filled with gratitude at the offering , Leviathan offered Para a bargain he could not resist.
For from his claw hung three great cross-shapes with moon-shaped blades at the end.
In our modern day we call them anchors.

One was gold ,
one was silver
and one was rusty and covered with lala, kerang and tiger prawns.

He offered Para all these for the price of more FRESH MEAT.

Grabbing hold of the gold one, Para swung his newfound weapon. A scrawny lad he was , it flew out of his hand , 100 miles away to the island palace, killing the ruler, Tunaunagi and breaking every bone in his body . Tunaunagi was an officer from SeeHam who ruled SinChiaPour as a vassal state.

That settled Leviathan's dinner .

The SeeHameese didn't know about the murder of Tunaunagi because the Leviathan's awakening knocked out the undersea internet cable .
Some time later , the Central Command noticed an absence of Tweets from Tunanunagi and sent a team to investigate..

Para hitched up his skirts and fled north to Muar.
Leviathan followed him .
and so did Leviathan's army, know as the Cellates, or Orang Laut.

Muar > Biawak Busuk / Kota Buruk .
One was smelly and one was run-down .

He continued his search for a new foundation to build his empire . One day , as he sat under the World Tree , he saw a peculiar creature .

Leviathan the Tidehunter advanced to confront this strange entity but got its ass kicked back into the tidal terrain , into the inky depths where it was born .

Para stared at awe at the entity which had defeated Leviathan . It was a silver stag .
He felt the aura and knew that THAT was THE place to build his new Empire .

He started with Jonker Street .

And so , Melaka was born .

More credible accounts argue the name "Malacca" was a local folk-adaptation of the Arabic word 'mulaqa' meaning 'meeting place': which the port of Malacca indeed was.

Source : Wikipedia .

Some believe Malacca took its name from the fictional antagonist , Mal'akh , from Dan Brown's latest thriller - The Lost Symbol . Available in all reliable bookstores .
